Please include the song Spank your Blank Blank. it was done by Morris Jefferson 1n 1978 recorded at Curtom Studios and the executive producer was Lucky Cordell. I know all of this because I played all the Guitars on the song! my name is Randolph Robinson, they mispelled my name on the album and it came out Raldolph, and wasnt discovered until the album was released. thank you.

Richard Richard Richard:
No Dells Man? The Group who's harmony is so sweet that they can sing a rainbow? Everybody I talk to names Stay in my Corner as the greatest Doo-Wop, R&B love song of all time.
The Emotions, another Chicago Group should be listed. Oh, and the
greatest song by a female: That's How Heartaches Are Made by Baby
Washington.

Bennie & the Jets by Elton John.  It was a significant crossover song for a White Artist to get air play on Black radio stations.  Now, during the summer when people are playing Old School music in the neighborhood, you will undoubtedly hear it being played.  Also Philadelphia Freedom by Elton John was played on Black radio stations, but it was not the huge hit that Bennie was.

The Average White Band also had significant crossover songs in the 70s: Pick Up the Pieces; School Boy Crush; A Love of Your Own; Cloudy; Cut the Cake; If I Ever Lose This Heaven; Queen of My Soul, all hits on Black radio.
